About us

Like a keystone, a force you can lean on

For sixteen years, we've believed the heart of legal service isn't slick talk—it's judgment. When it counts, we give you something solid to stand on.

Our story

From a small practice to a team worth trusting

In 2008, founding attorney Lin Cheng-yu started Keystone with a simple conviction: legal service should put people at ease, not make them more anxious.

Over sixteen years, we've built our judgment one case at a time—and earned our clients' trust along the way. Today the team covers corporate, litigation, family, and IP law, but that founding conviction has never changed: turn complex law into something you can make decisions with.

We aren't trying to be the biggest firm. We just want to be the steadiest keystone for each client at the moment they need it most.

Our principles

Four things we hold to

Honesty before optimism

We would rather tell you the hard truth from the start than win your business with false hope. Judgment is only worth something if it holds up to scrutiny.

Preparation decides outcomes

The composure you see in court and at the negotiating table comes from the prep work no one sees. We believe there are no shortcuts—only doing the homework.

Integration over silos

A single case often spans several areas of law. We work as one team, so you never have to explain the same thing to a different lawyer twice.

Relationships over cases

We treat every engagement as the start of a long-term relationship. Your trust is the asset we care about most.

How we work

What working with Keystone looks like

Clear, transparent, and predictable—from the first meeting to the close of your case, you're never left in the dark.

  1. 01

    Listen and understand

First we hear you out in full—your situation and your goals—to pin down what you really care about.

  2. 02

    Assess and analyze

We take stock of the facts and evidence and honestly weigh the odds, cost, and timeline of each option.

  3. 03

    Set the strategy

We choose a direction together—litigation, negotiation, or another path—and walk you through every step.

  4. 04

    Execute and report back

We keep you updated proactively throughout, so you always know where your case stands instead of waiting in the dark.
